Primal Purpose: Search & Retrieve classes, are not about just playing games with your dog. (... although, why not?) They're a way to teach your dog important life skills, channelled through breed specific tasks, utilising motor patterns that have been bred into our dogs for centuries. Pet gun dogs and retrieving breeds will enjoy these classes the most, but dogs of all breeds and sizes can benefit and enjoy learning these skills. We aim to build toy drive, foundational scent-work skills, relationship, impulse control and various obedience training such as, - Release cues - Recall - 'Drop' & 'Swap' - Stationary Positions (wait) - Heel work - Distance handling - Directional Cues and more!
